DANIELLE’S DIGEST: WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 11

This past week was very exciting.  The first draft of my fourth book was turned into the publisher on Monday and I spent a good part of Thursday filming videos that I will soon be sharing with all of you! We're still trekking away with our Whole30 and you can see a lot of what we ate below. Also be sure to see the live video I did on Facebook for a behind the scenes look at my day of filming!

Ryan and I are continuing our September Whole30 diet. We were barely a week in and I was already sick of eggs. I'll be making my Banana Nut Porridge super soon if we keep it up at this rate. Also – I may be crazy but I think vital proteins collagen peptides makes my (decaf) coffee taste sweet. It's mixed with cashew milk. Also I spiked my coffee this morning with a splash of Ryan's caffeinated because of book deadline.

Last week's burger. Grass-fed beef, herb ranch (from Meals Made Simple or Celebrations), tomatoes, bacon, avocado, mustard, ketchup, pickles. You can find the recipe for the ketchup here on my blog.

This salad was my favorite of the week. Leftover taco meat from Meals Made Simple with the Buffalo wings sauce from Celebrations mixed into my dairy-free ranch dressing (found in both of those books). It had bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and pepitas on it, and some coconut oil roasted plantains on the side.

Most nights we keep it simple! This was an organic plain flavor rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods.

The Maple Sage Sausage and Cinnamon Apples from my first cookbook (omit the maple) is an awesome Whole30 friendly breakfast when you're tired of eggs. You can find it on Page 32 of my cookbook Against all Grain (red shirt ?).

I almost ordered door dash again. But instead I made a last minute dinner of petrale sole poached in a jar of marinara with fresh basil and a big salad. And of course there was a sweet potato on the side with a ton of ghee because this nursing mama needs caaarrrbbbs.
