I didn’t quite agree with everything in this book, but the majority of it was a really great read while I was pregnant. There’s a lot about conception and pregnancy nutrition that was really interesting and helpful.
It’s a personal preference, but I chose to take prenatal vitamins. These were the best I found ingredients wise and they didn’t upset my stomach.
These are my hack to staying in pre-pregnancy jeans as long as possible. I just unfasten the button and loop a hair tie through instead to give me a little more room in the waist! Once I cave and go to maternity jeans though, I’m always so relieved! haha
This is kind of a joke, but there’s a hint of truth to every joke right? This was my craving at the beginning. I remember going to the store to grab something for Asher late at night and coming back with this and a pack of Applegate hotdogs. Ryan looked at me like I was crazy, then lovingly ate with me.
A good pair of maternity jeans is a splurge, but I pretty much wore them every day, so it was worth it for me. They didn’t fall down all the time, and the full belly coverage was the most comfortable. Plus they were super soft and fit like a dream. I bought a couple of pairs at H&M and Target to wear in between but I always went back to these ones.
These papaya enzymes are a natural way to aid heartburn and gastrointestinal discomforts which are all very common in pregnancies! When I was pregnant with Easton I had such bad heartburn and this was the best, natural way to fix it!
You may just want to go ahead and purchase two of these ice packs because they are amazing! I love the strap that it has so I could wear it on my lower back and have it stay in place, hands-free.
Many women crave an icy treat during pregnancy and I was most likely at the top of that list. I always made a double batch of this Dairy-Free Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream to aid my craving!
My back and foot pain was so bad with my big belly so I thought I hesitantly give birks a try in the name of pregnancy and let me tell you… I am never going back! These shoes are the best. They all of my soreness during days where I was testing recipes and cooking all day long!
When I was pregnant with Easton, I treasured my epsom baths. I found that it helped with soothing my aches and pains and it was such a nice way to unwind after Asher went to bed. The only problem I had was that I wound up too hot and sweating by the end, I had to shower! Pregnancy problems.
Before I had a body pillow I could barely sleep while I was pregnant and when I did, I woke up so sore! I found that this helped support my belly, hips and back while sleeping so I didn’t wake up feeling like I just wanted to lay down all day!
I love Zoe Organics and especially their Belly Butter! It was my first pregnancy using this and it worked phenomenally.
I absolutely loved this belly belt! I used it all the time when I was pregnant with Easton. It takes some weight off of your abdomen and helps with back pain as well!
