I have a few different carriers, and they all serve different purposes. I love to use a ring sling when I’m running a quick errand or playing in the house with Asher since it’s so easy to throw on. I don’t use it as often if I have things to do around the house because one arm kind of has limited use. I go for the ergo for that.

If you want to feel like a contestant on one of my favorite TV Shows, Top Chef, you need to purchase one of these.  Just feels cool to use it.

Had you approached me several years back, I would not know what to do with a muffin ring, but now they are an essential tool in making my grain-free hamburger buns.

This set of melon ballers is a great tool in disguise.  I use it to add my cookie dough to the baking sheet, scoop ice cream and even scoop melon!

This specific vegetable steamer may win the award for the oldest kitchen utensil I own and still use!  I remember cooking vegetables with it in college.

I think I receive a package from Amazon.com every other week with a new shipment of this parchment paper.  I especially love Amazon’s Prime Membership because it saves me in a pinch when I can’t get to the store.

This pan is an alternative to the glass loaf pan.  Make sure you take note that this pan is metal and will cook differently than the glass loaf pan.

This slicer is amazing and super helpful in the kitchen as it makes the slicing and dicing process very smooth. Make sure you are extremely careful with this product as the blades are very very sharp.

The uses for a crêpe pan would not be as obvious as one may expect, until you see that my tortillas can be made in a crêpe pan, again simplifying the process greatly.   Make sure to read up on using a crêpe pan as they cook differently than your common skillet.

Another great alternative to the single reusable silicone muffin cups.  I find this silicone muffin pan easier to clean as well compared to the single serving cups.

A great alternative to the non-stick pan I also have in this section.  You can use this for my super delicious pumpkin spice doughnuts.

Who does not love homemade donuts?  Enough said.

Another one of the niche products in my kitchen, but extremely useful.  Any time I have to peel an apple, like in my delicious Apple, Pear and Blueberry Crisp, this peeler makes that process so much easier!

I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to de-seed a mango before, but honestly, it can get a bit tough.  This OXO mango splitter makes that much easier.  As you probably know, I am a huge fan of mango, and include it in a lot of great salads like my spinach mango salad with prawns.  If you are curious, I have a tutorial on how to slice a mango here.

If you are a mom (or even a wife) you have to buy these ice pop molds.  I’ve made so many homemade popsicles that my little one (and husband) love.  My watermelon pineapple ice pops are some of my favorite.

The cherry pitter is probably one of the more niche products I use in my cooking. It makes it really simple to split cherries super fast.

If you have been following the blog a while, you know that I LOVE my Le Creuset pots and pans.  They look great in your kitchen and are amazing to use.  Make sure you don’t wash the cast iron with soap and water as that can have an effect on how long it lasts.

A great staple for the kitchen.  The large handle makes it really easy to control the peeler as you are using it.

I love using these silicone baking cups because they are reusable.  I usually put them on the top rack of the dishwasher and they are good to go for the next baking session.

Juicers are not just for juice fasts, although my husband made it a whole 3 days in to his!  This juicer has been in my kitchen for a couple of years and has been a great addition.  The most fun it has seen was fresh apple juice made with my son.

I don’t profess to have a “green” thumb, but having fresh herbs is an amazing to create any delectable dish.  This herb keeper is small enough to fit on your fridge shelf and saves your herbs for longer than keeping them in their store-bought packaging.

The reasons for owning a slow cooker are overwhelming and if the All-Clad version is too expensive, check out this one from Hamilton Beach.  The size is similar, and it is half the price.

The All-Clad Slow Cooker is my go to on weekday nights and nights that I don’t have time to cook.  I’ve featured its use heavily in my book Meals Made Simple because it can leverage your efforts in pre-making dishes and then heating and serving them later.

The Shun 7-inch blade is a staple in my collection.  I started collecting Shun knives many years ago, and have never regretted purchasing one.  The 7-inch is a great first chef’s knife because it is so versatile.

My favorite spiral slicer that I have demonstrated on shows like Hallmark: Home & Family.  I love this spiral slicer because it is easy to use, affordable and changes the way you make grain-free “pasta” at home.

Many of my recipes use a food processor to quickly chop vegetables, make grain-free saffron rice, and even make St. Patrick’s Day Cookies.  I really like the Cuisinart food processor because it is large enough to accommodate a lot of ingredients.
