Eat What You Love Nashville Celebration Brunch

A few weeks ago, right before Christmas, I flew out to Nashville to celebrate the release of Eat What You Love with some of my dearest friends. From helping me choose the cover photo and title of the book, to taste-testing some of the recipes along the way, to simply encouraging me from afar, a lot of these ladies were with me along the journey.

Nashville is my second home, so I wanted to have an intimate celebratory brunch with these ladies before going out on the big tour. Leila Lewis and her team at Be Inspired PR did such a beautiful job with my LA release party that I enlisted them again and they executed all of the details so beautifully. From the food that was recreated from the new book to the gorgeous barn it took place in – the whole morning was a dream. Read on for more details!

The party was featured on this fun venue blog, so you can see more photos and read more about the details here!

The table was placed in a more intimate area of the barn since there were only a dozen of us, and it was so cozy and festive for the holiday. That gold flatware is to die for!

We combined a few of my recipes from Eat What You Love with a frittata, fruit, and salad from the caterer, and it was the perfect brunch. We had the Everything Bagels with dairy-free cream cheese, Millionaire's Bacon, and Banana Bread from the book. It's always so fun having someone else make your recipes!

I brought marshmallows made with Vital Proteins grass-fed gelatin in my carryon bag. I'm not kidding. I mean business when it comes to marshmallows. We also had their dairy-free coffee creamers and hot cocoa from Celebrations available to the guests.

I wanted a special activity that we could all do together, so we brought in the sweetest mother and daughter team to teach us how to make Christmas wreaths and it was such a highlight of the morning! I knew my friends were creative, but they really got down and crafty and made some seriously impressive wreaths!

I sent all my friends home with a little Christmas gift! Staub cast iron skillets, swag bags with many of the brands that are included on my tour, and sweet Nashville t-shirts and a honey flask from Williams Honey Farm – my favorite honey in TN!

All the swag! I love supporting businesses who have created quality products to come along side of us who live this lifestyle and make it more sustainable (and delicious!).
