DANIELLE’S DIGEST: WEEK OF MARCH 19TH

[ssba]

Hi Friends! Hope you all had a great week and happy first week of Spring! Even though I know it doesn't feel like spring in most places. If you haven't seen already, I have been posting a bunch of ideas for Easter brunch and/or dinner for next week. I have a whole Easter spread in my book Celebrationsbut there are also great options in my bridal shower and mother's day section. If you you don't have a copy of Celebrations yet, it is not too late to order it on Amazon hereand get it on time for Easter.

Healthier Easter Basket ideas plus my favorite brands for candy free of artificial dyes, gmo, gluten, and corny syrup! See the post to save 25% on your first order from Thrive Market where you can get some these candies.

I shared the recipe for these nut-free Carrot Cake Cupcakes (originally published in my Meals Made Simple cookbook) exclusively to my email subscribers. If you are not already subscribed you can do so here so you don't miss out on my weekly newsletters!

My little pot of gold ?✨☘

I have a natural egg dyeing post that just published, but first I wanted to give you my favorite method to hard boil eggs! They consistently cook evenly, and the shells practically fall off!

Little secret – I was 5 months pregnant with Easton during this shoot for the book! This Asparagus Prosciutto Tart with Cream Sauce from my Celebrations cookbook is one of my favorite Easter Brunch recipes! The almond flour crust is really easy to make and it holds up really well to the fillings.

I love this man and am so grateful for his care for me and the kids when I’m ill. 10 years of marriage and a handful of pretty intense autoimmune disease flares like this one has been, and yet he never falters. ♥️

My favorite thing to do every year is take the Sunbutter Chocolate Cups (Halloween chapter of my Celebrations cookbook) and turn them into Easter Eggs using silicone egg molds! The chocolate is maple sweetened without soy or dairy, and they’re nut-free so they’re a great school treat too!
