Cookies are my usual favorite to bring along to holiday parties. I have created Gluten-Free Thumbprint Cookies for my latest cookbook, Celebrations, but I am sharing the full recipe and a step-by-step video with you here! They are filled with a sweet jam and make lovely gifts and a fun activity to do with your kids! You can make these cookies egg-free if you omit the optional egg wash.
I will continue releasing a new video every Wednesday so be sure to subscribe to my Youtube Channel here so you can be notified when I add something new! If you've missed any in the past couple of weeks you can find them on Youtube or on the blog!
Watch the step-by-step video for Gluten-Free Thumbprint Cookies below!
Don't forget about all the other Holiday Treats in found in Celebrations and on the blog. Make sure to use the #CelebrationsCookbook when uploading your pictures and you could have a chance to win my custom Celebrations knife!

These are delicious! I used apricot jam which added a nice tartness to these. Thank you for this recipe.

I watched a couple of your videos–you should have your own TV show!
I have your book so I know how good your recipes are.

Do you have a nut free version of these?

Love these. Made without any egg or coconut – just all-fruit filling. I made the depression deep and wide so I could get a lot of filling in for sweetness. Saw the other comments about the burnt bottoms. I had no issue – baked on parchment paper. Thank you Danielle for joining our Christmas Eve table – you were most welcome!

I’m so happy to hear it! Thank you for sharing!

I’ve made these twice now and they are perfect. I prefer apricot or raspberry preserves for a tart contrast. These are the perfect cookie for the holidays when everything else is covered in chocolate!

Delicious, moist and so flavorful. I made these with ghee. Thank you Danielle! Have all your books and love following your journey.

These are my favorite cookies to bake. What is the best non-almond flour substitute? My family doesnt like the texture of the almond flour. Thanks . And thank you for all the wonderful recipes for my newest adventure.
Danielle
You can sub with cashew flour. Enjoy!

THANKS DANIELLE! Off I go to bake!

I made these thumbprint cookies last weekend and they were amazing!! I chose to use pure almond extract instead of vanilla because I prefer that flavor. I can’t wait to cook my way through more of the Celebrations cookbook!
