DANIELLE’S DIGEST: WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 25

[ssba]

Happy Fall everyone! I think this might be my favorite season. I love baking with the many flavors and spices of fall, and creating fun recipes with all things pumpkin and apple. Ryan and I started the week by taking the kids apple picking and had a light and flavorful meal at Handline Restaurant. Kezia and I took a rejuvenating trip to Nashville to visit some dear friends of mine. I had so much fun baking for them, and they are all stocked up for the fall with my pumpkin bread and a new cookie recipe from the new book coming next fall!!

Asher is on the right! You can definitely tell they're siblings. Easton is the outlier ?

This was the cutest market ever. I met a friend here for a cup of bone broth (I know, so Paleo of us) and I loved it! It's will be so nice to pick up some of my favorite brands and products at a little local market rather than having to drive to the grocery store next time we're in Franklin again!

There was so much fall baking this week, and I loved it! This is the pumpkin bread recipe from Meals Made Simple (also on my blog!) but I used almond butter in place of the sunbutter and added chocolate chips.

We got home safely from a rejuvenating trip to visit my dear friends in Nashville. Kezia spent more time in other's arms than my own, and was full smiles the whole time.

After my disease diagnosis, losing Aila, and hoping for another girl with Easton- I spent a good 2-3 years questioning the purpose of prayer and honestly not praying at all. Too afraid to ask for anything specific in hopes of avoiding more disappointment, and wondering if we are even heard in the first place. But these friends prayed in my place, even when I could not. They hoped, asked, and believed for her, and now she's here. I'm so grateful for the way they love on her. ?
