Hello friends! This past weekend I got to be a part of Mom2Summit which is always so inspiring and I even got to work on a few more recipes in the kitchen which felt so good! You can see more of what we've been up to and the meals we've been enjoying down below!
My favorite part about this my newest book, Celebrations is that these menus can be used for special occasions but can also be broken up or mixed and matched for every-night meals too!
I enjoyed a really inspiring conversation with Rita Wilson and a group of incredible women at Mom2Summit about family, blogging, maintaining authenticity and passion in what you do, and being a working mom.
THANK YOU!!! You all put it at #1 in 3 different categories on Amazon and in the top 20 of ALL cookbooks!
You guys are the most supportive readers and your comments and excitement about the new book makes everything worth it.
Thank you for being here, thank you for supporting my work, and thank you for sharing the news about the new book with your friends!!
You can pre-order your copy HERE.
My lunch with a view at Mom2Summit! I love purple cauliflower!
What are celebrations and holidays without the traditional treats? ? Biscotti, caramel apples, the BEST fudge, and egg-free cinnamon rolls are all included in Celebrations!
They melt my ?
I made a batch of my new no-bake Sunbutter Crunch Bars to take to a family get together this past weekend. Have you tried them yet? Get the recipe HERE!
E's first time eating strawberries was extremely messy and way too cute! You should have seen his hair!
A few burned (because kids) but these duck fat and sea salt sweet potato fries were so good. I'll work on getting a recipe up on the blog for you all to try!
This is one of my favorite dinners. A simple lettuce wrapped burger (grass-fed beef, EVOO, salt and pepper), topped with pickles, avocado, bacon, my “special sauce” that will be in my new book and my homemade Ketchup. All alongside those sweet potato fries!

I threw some of the leftover sweet potato fries into a scramble with cremini, bacon, and kale. The trick is to fry up the potatoes until crisp then take them out of the pan while you cook the eggs so they don't get soggy.

Hi Danielle, I am four weeks in to a grain free diet to help with my rheumatoid disease. No real changes yet in my inflammation. When did you start to notice yourself healing?
Magda
Not Danielle but I thought I’d throw in my two cents. Since RA is an autoimmune disease, you might have to limit your diet further to see results. Going autoimmune paleo is pretty hard, from what I gather, so you might want to stick with just Paleo for now. The Paleo Mom has some more info on autoimmune Paleo if you are interested.
Kimberly
My teenage son has been paleo for over a year to help with RA. It really helps, but it did take a couple of months. Also, he did IgG testing to find out what food sensitivities he has. We avoided those foods for 6 months and then slowly added them back one at a time to see how he reacted. This was important for us because one of his biggest triggers continues to be black pepper. We never would have figured that out without the testing. There is also an AutoImmune Paleo diet which might help you.
Danielle
Thanks so much for sharing, Kimberly! I hope your son finds full healing.

I started seeing changes in how I felt in weeks, but everyone’s body is different and heals at a different pace. I would say it can definitely take some months, so hang in there. I would also suggest seeing a Naturopath so they can help you figure out exactly what could be causing inflammation and pain and how to counter-act that naturally. I hope you find full healing!

Thanks Danielle, Yes, I am already seeing a Naturopath. She is the one that urged me to cut grains and high fructose fruit out of my diet

your link for the book is incorrect. takes me to a dead site.
Danielle
That’s odd, every link to the book in the post works for us! You can always just click “Cookbooks” or use the search bar on my blog. 🙂 Here’s the link though- https://againstallgrain.com/category/shop/cookbooks/
