When I started researching the original spread to create the recipe remake of Nutella for my EatWhatYouLoveBook, I was shocked by the ingredients: sugar is listed first, followed by refined palm oil, and a soy-based emulsifier. You can feel good about how this version is made; go ahead and indulge! It’s refined-sugar free, refined oils free, dairy-free, and a lot healthier! I spread this on my Grain-Free Wraps (page 313) and roll them up with sliced bananas, or sandwich the spread between two Nilla Cookies (page 279). its also used in my Banana Bread French Toast from the book!

There is no hiding the fact that I have been on a tequila kick recently! A few weeks ago I shared a new recipe for a Watermelon Margarita and now I am sharing the recipe for this Ginger-Thyme Tequila Sour!
The thyme gives it a slightly savory taste and the ginger gives it a mild kick that provides an unexpected spicy warmth. When you put them together with a splash of lemon juice it creates an unconventional yet incredibly delicious cocktail.
Think Ginger Ale meets Lemonade. With a shot of tequila!
