I can't believe Asher went back to school this week! I shared a blog post with gluten-free lunch ideas that I hope helps the end of summer transition for you and the kids! Check out what our pre-school Sunday supper, and first-day breakfast looked like below. I also revealed Kezia's Nursery with a special feature from the TODAY Show, this week on the blog. Click here to see the post and entire video we created with them.
My favorite quote from Facebook Live with Annie and Angie, “This just went straight dateline” ?
If you are not on Facebook or you missed our live, unfiltered, cooking demo, you can now watch it on my blog! We have a little fun. ?

I just can't say no to a ruffled bottom. Thanks for the softest goodies Kickee Pants! Shop Kezia's footie PJ's here!
Getting in as much stone fruit as possible before it goes away! This salad had peaches, nectarines, strawberries, chives, avocado and pumpkin seeds. I used the champagne vinaigrette from Meals Made Simple. ???
Dinner on Sunday was grilled chicken rubbed in Primal Palate adobo seasoning with the Stone Fruit Salsa from my Celebrations cookbook. The perfect summer dinner on our last night before school starts!
I can't believe school started for us today! I'm trying to wrap my head around packing lunches again, so I compiled all of my favorite lunchbox friendly recipes for you on my blog! I also included some of my favorite store-bought snacks for when you just need some convenience items! Check the post out here!
The first day of school called for some super special pancakes with added chocolate chips! The recipe for the pancakes is in Celebrations on page 68!

This week I shared the first look inside Kezia’s nursery and a video of our pregnancy after loss journey.

If you know someone grieving the loss of a child, please share this with them. My hope is that continuing to share our story will help other grieving parents feel less isolated, and encourage them to look for the joy in the midst of their pain.

Thank you to the TODAY Show for giving us such a beautiful video that we can hold on to as a reminder to always look for the light in the depths of even the darkest tunnels and Becki Owens for the beautiful design!

Guys. My book is due on September 4th and I'm so much further behind this time than my other 3! And it's not just because of the baby. I wrote my last 2 pregnant and with a newborn too, so it's been done before. Life is just so much crazier this time around.
Plus I keep creating new recipes and adding to the book because I want to give you everything you've been asking for!! This is a new pizza crust that is amazing. Best one yet. And it's nut-free!
I used my Paleo BBQ sauce (the Whole30 compliant one) and did a BBQ chicken pizza with goat milk Gouda cheese. Don't worry, the whole book is dairy free but I just couldn't resist topping it with cheese this time. ??

I know you’ve gotten the question a lot about what diet plan you follow and you answer that you have your own curated mixture of Gaps, Scd, and Aip. Would you be willing to give a little more detail into what parts you incorporate from each? I know everyone is different and what works for you may not work for me but I’m feeling a little lost right now. I’m doing AIP for a UC flare and I know I should eat more vegetables but they’re so fibrous I can’t break them down. So I’m mostly eating chicken, avocados, and sweet potatoes. I’m not eating enough and losing weight and feeling weak. I will continue to discuss with my doctor but I thought having gone though it you may have some good advice for me. Thank you thank you!
