I’m asked so frequently about what it looks like to live a grain-free life day to day, what new products I find or recommend, and what I eat on a daily basis. So I’m going to start sharing a new blog post recapping my week for you guys! I’ll try to catalog my meals, snacks, grocery and market shopping finds, and even some of my fashion finds on occasion! These photos, and much more, are also shared on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there yet make sure to subscribe!
Earlier this week we filmed a video showing you how to make my grain-free wraps from Meals Made Simple (coming to the blog soon)! Working as a husband and wife team is the best, although there may or may not be some bickering caught on tape.
An egg sandwich for breakfast. Using the sandwich rolls from Meals Made Simple with ham, raw grass-fed cheddar, eggs, and mayo.
Family trip to Denver!

Love seeing this at Costco!
I loved watching Asher and his cousin have nerf wars this past week in Denver!
I had these while in Colorado. I wish they sold them in California!
One of our dinners this past week was a kale salad, kabobs, and roasted asparagus. Grilled pineapple is my favorite thing right now.
This is one of my most recent cravings! A warm grain-free Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookie with chocolate ice cream sandwiched in between.
One of our breakfasts this past week at my sisters house- scramble with kale, tomatoes, bacon, and raw goat milk cheddar cheese.
I had the chance to read the article in Experience Life Magazine over an awesome salad of mixed greens, chicken, almonds, strawberries, raisins, and purple carrots.
I couldn't resist picking up a little treat for Ryan when I saw it on the Whole Foods shelf. Two of his favorite things- Stumptown coffee and dark chocolate combined into one.
This is one of my most recent reads, The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care.
One more photo from the Rachel Zoe with A Pea in the Pod Maternity party the other night!

My favorite vegetable!
Made these this past week from my Against all Grain cookbook.
My mom and I made all of my dad's favorites for his birthday this past week. I used my herb ranch dressing recipe (in Meals Made Simple, found on page 247) to make a homemade blue cheese dressing with Humbolt Fog for wedge salads with bacon, tomatoes, and onion. We grilled NY Strips, roasted Romanesco with garlic and ghee, and they all had loaded baked potatoes with raw, grass-fed cheddar but I used a Hannah sweet potato.
These appointments help keep me sane. I usually start to have anxiety about 3 weeks after the last appointment and then have to choose daily to have faith instead of fear for that last week until I get to hear that everything is okay again. Being a mom to an angel-baby is not an easy road, even with another sweet one on the way.
I've been craving clam chowder and am so enjoying this dairy-free clam chowder from my first book! It's also Whole 30, Paleo and GAPS compliant!

Thanks for making so much information available – I need all the help I can find. Currently struggling with no dairy, legumes, grains, seeds, sweeteners, nightshades.

You may know about them already, but https://autoimmune-paleo.com/ and thepaleomom.com have been super helpful for me.

Where did you find those chips in CO?
Danielle
Whole Foods! The company is from CO I believe though so you can probably find them lots of places.
Melissa Payne Erker
You can get those chips at Whole Foods in California. I recently came across them in my local Long Beach Whole Foods. They’re awesome!
Danielle
I can’t find them at my local WF!
Cher
Leave a comment card for the Grocery Team Leader! I have worked at a couple of their stores; they are very responsive to requests.
