DANIELLE’S DIGEST: WEEK OF JUNE 11TH

Hello everyone! This week's digest includes a new recipe for Vanilla Chia Pudding using Vital Proteins Vanilla Collagen, some behind the scenes of my visit to Organic Valley Farm in Wisconsin, and lots of throwback pictures of Kezia to celebrate her first birthday!

We’ve been eating this Vanilla Chia Pudding with berries using Vital Proteins Vanilla Collagen all week long! The boys jumped on Facebook live with me and helped me make it too. It was quite comical. Grab the recipe and see the video in my bio!

Lots of reminiscing going on around here this weekend! It feels like Kezia was just in my belly yesterday. She turned 1 on Tuesday! ?

Sweet baby girl – you were such a gift from the Lord and a balm to our hearts. A year went far too quickly, but I can’t even imagine life without you now.
I’m reading the story I wrote on my blog a year ago about the meaning of her name, weeping at just how true it has all become in this last year.
We’re beyond in love with this little lady (as demonstrated by my extreme over posting in my stories … so much so that IG started deleting my other stories from earlier in the day!! ?)

I took a trip to Wisconsin to Visit Organic Valley Farms this past week. Above are some of the snacks I like to travel with!

Highlight of my day spent on an Organic Valley grass-fed farm –
the sweet baby calves!
I also got to love on baby goats and horses. I’m excited to share all that I’ve been learning about organic farming and grass-fed dairy with you guys! I’ve always loved this company and love it even more after learning more about the heart and culture of their co-op.

Let’s have a conversation! What questions do you have regarding dairy in the US, organic farming, grass-fed dairy and meat, and consumer labeling?
Organic Valley invited me to spend the last couple of days in WI learning from experts about organic farming and grass-fed dairy. We also got to spend a day on a 100% grass-fed dairy farm (with calves, baby goats and horses – I was in heaven).
I’m going to write a recap of everything we learned and want to make sure I answer any questions you all have!
I’ve been buying OV products for my boys for years because we loved the quality, but after learning more about their mission, their high standards, co-op of farmers, and heart behind why they do what they do – I’m even more inclined to choose their products now.
We learned all about the organic certification process in the US, the immense benefits organic farming has on our health and the environment, the benefits of 100% grass-fed dairy, animal welfare, and got a lot of answers to the common consumer questions regarding confusing labeling like natural, non-gmo, and pasture-raised.
