This was a great week! Easton turned two and we celebrated over the weekend with our families. We also got to see some of the new Whole Foods/Amazon prices. I'm so excited about the new organic rotisserie chicken, grass-fed and finished ground beef, organic avocado prices and more!

Cake is my nut-free Chocolate Cake, middle layer is the Whipped Cream, and the outer is the Quick Chocolate Icing – all from Celebrations! Everything is dairy/gluten/grain-free!

Did you know that most of the recipes in Celebrations are Paleo versions of heirloom recipes from my family members? This one came from my grandma Bonnie, which probably came from her mom, which I got from my mom. It uses white Hannah sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes since I don't tolerate them. White potatoes are a gray area in paleo- they used to be on the omit list, but if you handle them ok, then, by all means, use them in this instead! Oh and it tastes even better on day 3!
