I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was so fun to see all of your pictures of the food you cooked from my Thankful Cookbook. We had a great time in Denver with family and cooked up a storm! I have a few more recipes to create for my third cookbook, then I'm kicking up my heals and taking a break from the kitchen until Christmas!
Use code HOLIDAY30 for 30% off one book on Amazon! My ebooks are also on sale for $2.99 in case you want to have the recipes with you at all times! You can get Meals Made Simple on Amazon HERE!
What did you guys make for Thanksgiving dessert? I made my Chocolate Cream Pie from Against all Grain (page 274). Although I love the Thanksgiving classics, I am definitely more of a chocolate lover so we opted for a chocolatey treat this year!
My (vegan) layered leather jacket is 25% off! I love the soft grey jersey knit that is built in. CLICK HERE and use code SHOPTOIT for 25% off!
I am so thankful for my boys. Those smiles melt my heart!
Tis' the season, right? I love Christmas pajamas and snuggly baby toes. 🙂
It's never to soon for Christmas fudge testing, right? I'm pretty much always okay with recipe testing especially when it's a lot of chocolate! 🙂 Once I get this recipe right, it will be in my next book!
We decided to go up to Colorado to stay with family this Thanksgiving and we were greeted with snow! What better time to take family photos than in the snow!
Sunday snuggles are my absolute favorite… and so are smiling babies 🙂 You can find Asher's pajamas HERE!
Thanksgiving #1 was in Denver with my sister and her family! Everything was from my eBook, Thankful and I didn't even have to cook a thing!! We are so thankful to be here with my family this year!
I'm not quite sure how it started, but it's my tradition to watch Seven Brides for Seven Brothers every year while I decorate for Christmas. Just giving you all a heads up… I absolutely love the holidays and decorating and celebrating. Get ready to see a lot of pictures of how our family celebrates!
If you show me anything that's mini sized, with ears on the hood, and Christmas trees, I'll buy it. I found this romper at Target and got it in 3 sizes because I loved it so much and also because this guy isn't so mini anymore!
It looks like my Pecan Pie was the favorite from Thankful this year! Thank you all for sharing photos of the food you made! It makes my heart happy that people are able to eat and enjoy their Thanksgiving favorites.
Peppermint Hot Chocolate was the perfect way to end a day of snow play with the cousins. You can find my dairy-free & paleo recipe HERE!

Such cute pictures of your family. I can’t wait to see the fudge recipe. I love fudge — especially if it is a “healthy” fudge.

Thank you so much! Stay tuned… it’s delicious 🙂

We had the apple pie from Thankful and the pumpkin bread (with almond butter) from the blog! The pie was a little undercooked and the double crust was a bit too much (not to mention 5 cups of almond flour getting a little too pricey just to have dessert), but we still enjoyed it! How about a grain-free topping for apple crisp Danielle?
Danielle
So glad you liked them! I’ll add that to the list!

Hi Danielle! I love both of your first two cookbook that I just bought! I made your World Famous white bread recipe. I subbed tapioca starch for the coconut flour an added ground flax seeds (I used the eggs and egg whites too) and got great results! Thank you for sharing your recipes with us!!!
Danielle
Hi Denise- Thanks so much! Glad to hear your substitutions worked 🙂
