DANIELLE’S DIGEST: WEEK OF JUNE 4TH

Hi Everyone! The digest this week includes what we ate this week, my Facebook Live making a new Chia Seed Pudding recipe with Asher and Easton, and a behind the scenes look into what I filmed this week.

?

We almost didn’t post this, because Melissa Hartwig (aka boss-lady Whole 30) and I both decided we looked tired in it and that we’d do a redo tomorrow night when we’re back together.
But guess what? We WERE tired. Our boys woke up at 4am and 5am because they had so much fun together the night before and couldn’t wait to play together again, even if the sun wasn’t up yet.
So instead of letting the pressures of perfection on IG sensor me – I’ll just put it up there and let it tell a story of 2 friends who support each other’s work and life stages and 3 boys who ran and played to their heart’s content and tired their mamas out.
Grateful for the friends this world of book writing and social media has brought us, and the chance to welcome them into our home, feed them, stay up entirely too late catching up, and ruin their kid with grain-free cookies and too many toys.
Also Easton has asked no less than 20 times when “that boy is coming back to my home” so I think he liked them. ♥️

Most of the time the kids eat whatever we’re eating, but I always keep things on hand for quick meals or for nights when Ryan and I go out. This is one of Kezia’s favorite meals – steamed broccoli, Hannah sweet potatoes with a little melted ghee, avocado, and chicken meatballs (with chicken liver). The meatball recipe will be in the freezer/batch cooking chapter of Eat What You Love and you can watch the highlight on my profile page for more tips on feeding kids and babies!

They always provide some good entertainment when they insist on both doing my Facebook live with me. Asher’s laugh ?
You can watch the full video through the link in my bio for a little laugh (and a great vanilla chia pudding recipe!)

I revealed the ingredients in these today over on my stories and from the looks of the hundreds of DMs I received afterwards – most of you were as shocked as I was! Go take a look. I had to redline SO many things. Bummer because when I first saw them I was excited to have an emergency breakfast option on the run. ??

A little behind the scenes look into filming this week. Keep an eye out for new videos coming out soon.
