Welcome to my weekly download!
I’m asked so frequently about what it looks like to live a grain-free life day to day, what new products I find or recommend, and what I eat on a daily basis. So I’m going to start sharing a new blog post recapping my week for you guys! I’ll try to catalog my meals, snacks, grocery and market shopping finds, and even some of my fashion finds on occasion! These photos, and much more, are also shared on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there yet make sure to subscribe!

Thanks to all of my Instagram followers for helping me figure out what kind of tree this was! At first, I thought it was a Yuzu tree (commonly used in Japanese cuisine), but I think it may be some kind of lemon tree! It tastes really sour and it has a really thick, and bumpy peel! Based on your comments, I'm thinking Eureka Lemon but I'd love to hear any other options!
Asher is so excited to meet the new baby! It always makes me so happy to see how in love he already is. He was devastated when we lost Aila and processed it differently and harder than I expected. He actually turned a huge corner when we told him we were expecting again. It brought up a lot of questions, but he has come out of his shell a lot in the last few months. We had an early anatomy ultrasound at 14 weeks and waited until we had a positive report before we told him to try to shield him from more heartbreak, but now he is completely part of the pregnancy and is ecstatic. I hate not being to 100% promise him that this time will be different but we have to have faith that it will and give him the same hope!
This was one of my late night dinners this past week. It's leftover Enchilada filling (from my Enchilada Stuffed Sweet Potatoes), avocado, lettuce, black olives, a little grass-fed cheddar and crunched up plantain chips!
I totally had a pregnancy moment recently! I bought this amazing watermelon because it sounded so good and refreshing and as soon as I cracked it open I thought it smelled like dirty diapers and B.O.!
I love when my parents babysit because that means I get to dress up and go on a date with my husband!

Here was a quick lunch I had! A wrap from my cookbook Meals Made Simple the freezer, pan fried until slightly crispy with some Pomi brand pizza sauce, Applegate pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese. This is keeping me caving and ordering a gluten-free pizza!
This is one of my favorite breakfast salads! Greens, bacon, green goddess dressing and poached eggs!
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with my Enchilada Stuffed Sweet Potatoes! I also just recently made a video of how to make these for my Youtube channel, and I made this using my new app Cookery!
Who can do Cinco de Mayo without a refreshing Worthybar Marg in hand? Ryan sure can't! He said it was so refreshing paired with our dinner!
Just because I write recipes for a living doesn't mean I have a non-picky 4 year old who eats anything I put in front of him. So when he slurps something up joyfully, it still makes my heart happy. Pepperoni Pizza Pasta (from my Meals Made Simple book) for dinner tonight. Funny thing is, he won't touch pizza!
I had meatballs in the freezer that I defrosted last night and browned them in a skillet then sautéed spinach in the oils and juices. I used my favorite jar of sauce from Middle East Organics!

Do you think you’ll have your app, Cookery, on the Google Play store?

In new to your Instagram and I am hooked. Thank you for your knowledge and insights. I too would live to download “cookery” but would need it for Android devices. Thanks again.

Each week I celebrate your weekly post. After eight months of being on the nutritional plan, I still need something to spur me on in thinking of fun and wonderful things to eat for all of the three meals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I covet you in prayers. I understand a little bit on how you wanted to shield you little guy. We told my son when he was 3 I was pregnant (I had a previous miscarriage before) however, they assured me that it happening again was very unlikely, at 10 weeks my baby stopped growing, and my first thoughts went to my son on how I was going to tell him. He took it very hard and had so many questions. So when I got pregnant the 4th time we kept it under wraps even from some family and friends. Anyways, I love your books and website and continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy.
Danielle
Thank you Heather. I’m so sorry for your losses.

Any tips on how to stick to grain free? I have an Autoimmune disease and going grain free does help my symptoms but I find it hard to stick too, I don’t love salads and I find I’m always hungry without carbs!
