It's been my mission to show my kids every possible Halloween movie and tv episode that I can this season, both current and classics from my childhood. So we've put together a list for you of some of favorites for kids of all ages that promise a wicked good time for your whole family. Read on to see our favorites, what ages they're appropriate for, and where to find them!
These are in no particular order of favorites, though I did put the few that we've watched a billion times at the top. 🙂
I love the website Common Sense Media when I'm looking to see if something is appropriate for my kid's ages. They rank movies based on what the parents say the appropriate age is, as well as what the kid's say. I've included those ratings below, as well as our own personal family ratings below! Easton has a better tolerance for scary stuff than Asher ever did, so he watches some things that are more like a 7+ age as long as there's not violence or language. And Kezia tends to watch a lot of these with them but flits in and out of the room when things get too intense!
I've had so many of you ask me to repost our Halloween Playlist too, so here it is!
Also if you're a child of the 90's like me and want a little blast from the past of your favorite TGIF Halloween episode favorites, see this article!
