I’m asked so frequently about what it looks like to live a grain-free life day to day, what new products I find or recommend, and what I eat on a daily basis. So I’m going to start sharing a new blog post recapping my week for you guys! I’ll try to catalog my meals, snacks, grocery and market shopping finds, and even some of my fashion finds on occasion! These photos, and much more, are also shared on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there yet make sure to subscribe!
I finally had a chance to get through all of the mail and take a chance to sit and pour over Jenni Hulet's new book My Paleo Patisserie. I was honored to write the foreword for her and am not a bit surprised about how beautifully it turned out!
Another one of my cavings as of late has been: tuna salad, pumpkin seeds, apples, and horseradish kraut. The Tuna Salad is in my book Meals Made Simple (page 112)!
This is what prepping my glaze for the Easter ham looked like! Do you buy a smoked ham or do you go all out and cure/brine a raw one for a few days then cook it? This year I grabbed a gluten-free, uncured smoked ham for ease. I'm loving working with all of my new Williams-Sonoma tools in the test kitchen!
Details here:
Williams-Sonoma Edge-Grain Carving Board– Williams-Sonoma
Microplane Rasp Grater– Williams-Sonoma
Williams-Sonoma Open Kitchen Lemon Press– Williams-Sonoma

My in-laws found this great all natural egg dying kit called Eco-Eggs that Asher got to use this year!
Here was a little Saturday morning treat at the request of the boy with dimples that I can't refuse…banana chocolate chip pancakes!
I made a video of how to make homemade mayonnaise this past week. Go check it out on my youtube channel! Click here and make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss any future videos and recipes!”
I made the nut-free carrot cake cupcakes from Meals Made Simple (page 286) into a cake and used that lactose-free cream cheese for a frosting for Easter brunch. What did you make?
I finally got these two to take a family picture at our Easter brunch!
I used the leftover ham from Easter in a sweet potato hash for breakfast. I have so much, I need to create way more recipes to use it up! I have some good ideas, but I'd love to hear – What are some ideas you have for it?
I had an awesome Twitter chat with Experience Life Magazine this past week about cooking and eating clean! If you missed it, you can still search on twitter for the hashtag #cookcleanchat and follow along from our conversation!
Another one of Danielle's Cravings this past week was a baked Hannah sweet potato with grassfed butter and cheddar and leftover ham from Easter with whole grain mustard.
Blender Bread. This will be going into a savory bread pudding to use up the last of that Easter ham! Recipe for the bread is in my Ebook Joyful which is $1.99 on Amazon! You can watch the video of how to make Blender Bread on the Today Show here!
Thank you to A Pea in the Pod for sending me some amazing pieces recently! I'm a fan of mixing non maternity and maternity, and the staples from here are definitely necessary now!
Ryan and I went on a date this past week and I had rice flour that didn't sit well. I should know better but I always think I can cheat with just a little rice! The fryer was separate so it wasn't cross contamination luckily!

That cake looks amazing! I want to make a grain-free carrot cake for my fiancé’s birthday next month, but I can’t have coconut :(.
For Easter I made a vanilla cake (with almond & tapioca flour) and topped it with strawberries and whipped cream.

Freeze the ham leftovers in chunks, slices etc , chunks for use in egg scrambles, quiches etc, slices for wraps, diners etc. If you put a piece of deli paper(about 500 for 8$) in between each slice you can pull them apart frozen

Hi Olivia- Unfortunately, cashews themselves are pretty expensive. I get my raw cashews off of nuts.com and they usually go for about $10.99 a lb. and they also offer organic cashews (raw) that go for $12.99 a lb.! You could also check Trader Joes and amazon to see if they have any deals!
