I’m asked so frequently about what it looks like to live a grain-free life day to day, what new products I find or recommend, and what I eat on a daily basis. So I’m going to start sharing a new blog post recapping my week for you guys! I’ll try to catalog my meals, snacks, grocery and market shopping finds, and even some of my fashion finds on occasion! These photos, and much more, are also shared on Instagram, so if you don’t follow me there yet make sure to subscribe!
We absolutely loved spring break and going on a weekend vacation!
We recently tried out Thrive Market and can't believe how low their prices are for all of my favorite brands. I'm so excited to share that I am partnering with them to offer 10 lucky people a hand-picked box of my favorite pantry items and a copy of my book! Head to the blog now to read all about Thrive and to enter for a chance to win!

This is how to vacation properly with a 4 year old…bring board games. We had appetizers at FARM in Napa, while we alternated playing chess and bocce ball. This salad was awesome and it was practically a full head of butter lettuce!
This was the best scallop I've had in a long time (that one was tough to share!) Ryan had the Hamachi crudo, and we also tried the asparagus soup with parmesan foam and a poached egg. It was all so amazing!
Asher requested a winery tour to see how wine was made and he was so cute soaking in every word the tour guide was saying! He even learned to swirl and sniff a glass and tasted some on his finger but said “this tastes funny!”

The end of spring break is always such a let down. But at least we were let down with a view like this!
The way to enjoy a workout – watching The Chew.
I'm always grateful to have my smoky beef jerky on hand in the car! The recipe is on the blog and it's my all-time favorite!
I had a migraine and nausea this past week and the only things that help are baked goods, cheese and apples. I ate lots of my wraps and muffins that I kept in the freezer during my first trimester! I used Blender Bread with almond butter and honey to combat this. The recipe for Blender Bread is in my ebook Joyful!

I really enjoy your weekly digests! I have to adk, your son’s bicycle bag on his handlebars, where in the world did you find that? We need one of those!
Danielle
Thank you Erin! I think we found that at our local town bike shop! Maybe Target though?

I’m curious about your comments about headache and nausea. I have had chronic headaches for 25 years and getting off wheat seems to be taking care of them, for the most part. Is there a reason baked goods, cheese and apples help yours, or is that just your comfort, so it helps in that way? Or does this have to do with your pregnancy? Just curious. I am just starting to read your blog and just bought one of your cookbooks. Thanks, Sheryl
Danielle
Sorry for the confusion, this is just because of my pregnancy!
Danielle
That could be the problem! Make sure you’re using the correct leaving agent and that it isn’t expired. For baking in general though I would suggest trying a different almond flour. I recommend getting Honeyville or Wellbee almond flour! https://amzn.to/1uUP17U orhttps://amzn.to/1yDTZax.
