I was nominated for a few categories over at the Kitchn's annual “Homies” awards. Because of your votes, I was able to move ahead to the next round of voting in the photography category. I have dedicated the last six months to improving my photography skills for my book, so as a fully self-taught photographer, this nomination came as a surprise and a huge honor.
