French Vanilla Coffee Creamer (Dairy-Free)

This is my version of a homemade Coffeemate coffee creamer. You know, the kind you can by in the grocery stores that is filled with high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils?

It tastes delicious in your morning cup of coffee, only uses real wholesome ingredients, and is a Paleo and SCD coffee creamer!

French Vanilla Coffee Creamer (Dairy-Free)

SERVES: 2 cups

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1. Combine both of the milks and sweetener in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a low boil, then remove from heat.
2. Slice the vanilla bean down the long side, and scrape out the seeds. Place the seeds and bean in the milk, then cover and let steep for 30 minutes.
3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1 week.

    This recipe is not SCD legall! Maple syrup is illegal!!! Also coconut and almond milks are only legal if homemade!! It shouldn’t be marked as okay for SCD diet….

      As mentioned in the recipe, one can sub all honey for the maple syrup, making it legal for SCD

      Maple syrup is not SCD legal which is why there is the option to use all honey. Make sure your milks are scd legal as well

    Hi. I am loving your site! I’ve just been diagnosed with Candida and will probably need to change my diet for good. Your recipes are giving me hope that I can still eat things I love!

    Do you think there is a way to make the Coffeemate Peppermint Mocha similar to this vanilla one? I’m going crazy without it!

      Use a bit of peppermint extract, and pure cocoa powder instead of vanilla bean. No need to strain that one. (have to play with the amount to find the right taste, but that should work.) Also – if you are concerned with the sugar in the honey/maple, try stevia liquid. (Candida feeds on sugar, so you should be careful, even with natural sugars.) Good luck

    After it’s been refrigerated does the coconut milk separate or does heating it up change that? Thank you for this recipe! I’ve been adding vanilla to my almond milk but I’m missing a thicker coffee creamer!
